Mike & The Mechanics sono nati nel 1985 su iniziativa di Mike Rutherford dei Genesis. Nel 2004 la band si è riunita, dopo la morte del cantante Paul Young, avvenuta nel 2000, chiamando alla voce Paul Carrack e imbarcandosi in un tour europeo che è culminato in questo show allo Shepherds Bush Empire di Londra.
