La luce, questo mistero: Quando anni fa lessi la citazione di un famoso scienziato, la quale diceva che nessuno scienziato pensa con numeri e formule, ma che essi vengono dopo, per verificare la bontà delle idee (prima viene l'intuizione, la creatività, il pensiero libero...) mi riempì di entusiasmo perché significava che "anche tu puoi cimentarti sui grandi misteri dell'universo" anche se non sei un "Einstein". Così è sorta questa opera, da domande che abbiamo in noi fin da bambini: perché un sasso cade? Perché piove? Di che cosa è fatta la Luna?... Che cosa è il tempo? Perché la luce ha una doppia natura? Nature poi così in antitesi una con l'altra... Non sarà per caso una questione di prospettiva? Questo testo, più che essere una risposta a tante domande vuol essere una domanda, uno stimolo a pensare in modo non convenzionale, il mondo che ci circonda è molto più sorprendente di quel che pensiamo. Non sarà, per le ragioni sostenute nel testo, che le cose vanno proprio così? E qui entra in gioco la matematica, sovrana di tutte le cose. When years ago I read the quotation of a famous scientist, who said that no scientist thinks with numbers and formulas, but that they come later, to verify the goodness of ideas (first comes the intuition, creativity, free thinking...) Filled me with Enthusiasm because it meant that "you too can engage in the great mysteries of the universe" even if you are not an "Einstein". So this work has arisen, from questions we have in US since children: why does a stone fall? Why is it raining? What is the moon made of?... What is the weather? Why does light have a double nature? Nature then so in antithesis one with the other... Will it not be a matter of perspective? This text, rather than being an answer to so many questions, is a question, an incentive to think in an unconventional way, the world around us is much more surprising than we think. Will it not, for the reasons incurred in the text, that things go just like that? And here comes into play the math, sovereign of all things.
