L'esperienza della verità

L'esperienza della verità: Che cosa vogliamo dire quando diciamo che qualcosa "è vero"? Un approccio ermeneutico al problema della verità non può che partire da questa domanda: che non è la domanda su "che cos'è" la verità, ma sul suo significato nella nostra esperienza. La tesi generale dell'ermeneutica filosofica sul problema della verità può essere infatti riassunta, secondo l'autore, nella difesa del suo pieno contenuto semantico, contro ogni tesi ridondandista: tramite la parola "vero" noi significhiamo non già una condizione del reale "in sé", ma una condizione della nostra esperienza del reale. Essa perciò non è il segno di una realtà atemporale, il marchio dell'abisso tra una realtà eterna e la nostra esperienza, ma è al contrario esattamente ciò che fa della realtà "in sé" una realtà "per noi": quel che ci collega alla realtà, facendone non un altro mondo, ma precisamente il nostro mondo. A hermeneutical approach to the problem of truth must begin from this question: that is not the question on "what is" truth, but its significance in our experience. The general thesis of philosophical hermeneutics on the problem of truth can be summed up, according to the author, in defence of his full semantic content, against all ridondandista thesis: using the "real" we mean not a real condition "in itself", but a condition of our experience of reality. It is therefore not the sign of a timeless reality, the Gulf between an eternal reality and our experience, but is otherwise exactly what it does of reality "in itself" a reality "for us": that which connects us to the reality, not another world but precisely our world.
