Teatro (1920-1930). Vol. 3: La vita artistica tra Rivista, Piedigrotta e Sciosciammocca: La difficile reperibilità delle commedie di Vincenzo Scarpetta, non ha consentito, fino ad oggi, di conoscere la feconda e brillante produzione iniziata a fine '800 e proseguita ininterrottamente fino a metà anni '40. Per colmare almeno in parte questo vuoto e permettere agli amanti del genere di riscoprire un grande nome del teatro napoletano, la curatrice propone la trascrizione fedele di alcune commedie inedite, scritte nei primi tre decenni del '900. Nel primo volume dell'opera sono state presentate quattro commedie scritte tra il 1910 e il 1920: 'O tuono 'e marzo, Statte attiento a Luisella, La vendetta di Ciociò e 'O guardiano 'e muglierema. Nel secondo volume, sono state proposte cinque commedie scritte tra il 1900 e il 1910: Ddoje gocce d'acqua, È femmena o è diavolo?, L'Albergo del Serpente o Tanta guaje pe durmì, La Signorina Cochelicò e Il Signor... 39.
