The Fisher is a distinguished English family of vaudeville actors. George has 11 years; growing up in a magical world and lonely, made to theatrical scenes, is sent to boarding school. There is another George, a chatty toy for the boy's grandfather and ventriloquists belonged to whom he performed in the wake of British troops during World War II.
